The training of oral and maxillofacial surgeons focuses largely on the hard (bone) and soft (skin, muscle) tissue of the face, mouth and jaw. Their knowledge and surgical expertise make them the only specialists qualified to diagnose and treat functional and aesthetic disorders in this anatomical area.

Our department has 1 clinic and 4 local operating rooms. In these clinics; routine tooth extractions, impacted tooth extractions, pre-prosthetic surgical procedures, implant applications, root tip resections, maxillary sinus operations, treatment of oral diseases and odontogenic infections, treatment of various cysts and tumors in the jaws, temporomandibular joint (jaw joint) problems and trauma patients are treated.
